Southend United make two changes for Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Dagenham & Redbridge

BLUES boss Paul Sturrock has made two changes to his starting line-up for tonight’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy clash against Dagenham and Redbridge at Roots Hall, with both David Martin and Alex Woodyard being handed recalls.

For Woodyard it is just the second senior start of his career as he lines up in central midfield alongside Michael Timlin while Martin has been preferred to Anthony Straker as Southend revert to a 4-4-2 formation.
