Lewis lands PB at Lake
CARP fishing newcomer Reg Lewis included a new personal best 23lb 8oz mirror carp in a three-fish Lake Meadows haul.
Lewis, who has only been seriously carp fishing for the last three months, fished the point swim at the Billericay lake, casting towards the island.
By he end of the day his shelf life tutti fruitti boilies had tempted carp of 14lb 8oz, 16lb 4oz, and 23lb 8oz.
Les Newman enjoyed a hectic session from the Lake Meadows houses bank, where he included five different species in a haul estimated to weigh more than 40lb.
Pole angler Newman landed numerous bream and skimmers, some quality roach, a tench, a perch and a 3lb barbel.
