ESSEX Pirates crashed to an 84-72 defeat at home to Cheshire Jets this evening.
Pirates led 26-24 after the first quarter but Jets hit back to go in at half-time 49-39 in front.
That became 68-53 at the end of the third quarter before Jets hung on during the final 10 minutes.
Pablo Rodrigo top scored for Pirates with 14 points while Sam Toluwase added 13.
