ESSEX Pirates recorded an exciting 82-80 triumph over Plymouth Raiders at the Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre this evening.
Pirates were 21-27 down after the first quarter but led 46-40 at half-time.
Raiders hit back to be 62-56 in front at the end of the third quarter but Pirates came out on top during a dramatic conclusion to the game.
Taner Adu top scored for Pirates with 22 points while Alan Metcalfe added 21.
