Pirates sink after two years

ESSEX Pirates have withdrawn from the British Basketball League.
The decision was reached after a review from the BBL which followed notification of potential challenges by the Pirates management.
Pirates, who played their home games at the Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre in Eastern Avenue, Southend, spent just two seasons in the BBL.
