SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has made three changes to his starting line-up for this afternoon’s clash against Oxford United at Roots Hall.
Adam Thompson has been recalled at the heart of the back four in place of Mads Ibenfeldt and there is no place in the squad at all for Cian Bolger despite him having completed a one match ban.
In midfield, the in-form Conor Clifford has come in for Gary Deegan while Ryan Leonard also starts as David Worrall drops down on to the bench.
Jack Payne has been handed his first league start in attack while both Barry Corr and Kevan Hurst are among the substitutes.
