BLUES’ young striker Jason Williams will not be heading out on loan.
The forward attracted interest from Ryman Premier League side Bury Town who he watched, along with manager Phil Brown, lose to Romford in the FA Cup at Thurrock’s Ship Lane ground on Sunday.
But Brown is not willing to send the youngster out at this stage.
And he has been included in this evening’s game at Cheltenham.
“Jason’s in the squad tonight and if he’s that close to our first team then he’s not going to go out on loan,” said Brown.
“However, if the senior strikers stay fit and healthy then there’s a possibility him, Isaac Layne and Ellis Brown could have a loan spell somewhere later on in the season but only if it’s right for us.”
