SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown and winger David Worrall have both been nominated for awards after helping the Shrimpers win all four of their league games during November.

Brown has been shortlisted for the manager of the month award he previously won in September while Worrall is on the four man list for player of the month after scoring three goals and claiming two assists.

Brown finds himself nominated alongside Wycombe Wanderers’ boss Gareth Ainsworth, Shrewsbury Town’s Mickey Mellon and former Blues defender Justin Edinburgh who is in charge of Newport County.

Worrall is up against Luton Town midfielder Nathan Doyle, Exeter City striker Tom Nichols and Newport County’s ex Grays Athletic forward Aaron O’Connor.

The winners of both awards will be announced on Friday.
