Southend United to visit Canvey Island next Tuesday for midweek friendly
SOUTHEND United will visit local side Canvey Island on Tuesday, February 17 for a midweek friendly.
Blues host Accrington Stanley tomorrow but Shrimpers manager Phil Brown has set up the midweek encounter to prepare his side for a busy promotion push in the coming weeks.
Brown has indicated he will field a strong side against the Ryman Premier League side at the Prospects Stadium, with kick-off at 7:45pm.
Admission is priced at £5 for adults, £3 for concessions (students with valid ID, over-60's) and £1 for supporters 16 and under.
