SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has selected an unchanged starting line-up for tonight’s clash at AFC Wimbledon with Ted Smith fit enough to continue between the sticks.
The teenage shot-stopper suffered an impact injury during the second half of last Saturday’s 2-0 win against Carlisle United.
But he is fine to feature again at Kingsmeadow as first choice custodian Daniel Bentley, who has been struggling with a groin injury, is only fit enough to be selected among the substitutes.
Joining him on the bench is the fit again Jake Cassidy but there is no place in the squad for Shaq Coulthirst or Adam Barrett.
Southend United: T Smith, White, Thompson, Prosser, Coker, Worrall, Atkinson, Leonard, Timlin, Pigott, Corr
Subs: Bentley, Weston, Hurst, Payne, Deegan, Binnom-Williams & Cassidy
