SOUTHEND United duo Daniel Bentley and Ben Coker have been named in the PFA League Two team of the season.
Goalkeeper Bentley has enjoyed a stunning campaign between the sticks and has now been selected as the best custodian at this level.
The Wickford based 21-year-old was also voted Blues’ player of the season by both the supporters and his team-mates.
Coker has also impressed for Blues this term either side of being sidelined for three months with a shoulder injury.
His inclusion in team of the year will provide a timely tonic for Coker who was harshly sent off in Saturday’s 1-0 win against Luton Town.
Team of the year: Bentley (Southend), Edwards (Burton), McNulty (Luton), Goldson (Shrewsbury), Coker (Southend), Woods (Shrewsbury), Grimes (Exeter), Wallace (Portsmouth), Mayor (Bury), Reid (Plymouth), Tubbs (Portsmouth)
