SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has made two changes to his starting line-up for tonight’s clash at Coventry City.

New loan signing Glen Rea has gone straight into the side at centre back in place of Luke Prosser and will line up alongside Adam Barrett at the heart of the back four.

The other alteration comes in attack where David Mooney has been preferred to Jack Payne and will partner Noel Hunt in attack.

The Shrimpers’ other new loan signing Stephen McLaughlin starts the game on the bench but there is no place in the squad for Luke O’Neill or Gary Deegan.
