Dave Robertson - heading to Southend United as under 21 manager
FORMER Peterborough United boss Dave Robertson is set to become the new under 21 manager at Southend United, Echosport understands.
Robertson was dismissed by Posh following a 2-1 defeat against the Shrimpers at Roots Hall in early September.
But he now seems set to replace Dale Brooks in charge of the under 21 team which was created at the start of the season.
Blues legend Kevin Maher had also been in contention for the job.
However it is believed Robertson, who also worked with the youth team at Peterborough, will be taking over.
