Phil Brown - nominated for manager of the month
SOUTHEND United’s Phil Brown has been nominated for the League One manager of the month award for September.
The Shrimpers won four of their five matches during a successful month.
And that has seen Brown shortlisted alongside Bury’s Dave Flitcroft, Colchester United’s Tony Humes and Burton Albion’s Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
The winner well be announced on Friday morning
