SOUTHEND United have complained to the Football League about Oldham Athletic’s ticket prices for tomorrow night’s clash at Boundary Park.

As things stand, the Shrimpers fans will be charged £22 to watch the game while home supporters will have to pay just £5.

But Blues’ chief executive Steve Kavanagh has now contacted the Football League about the price difference.

“I’m upset by the situation and I’ve made the Football League aware of it,” said Kavanagh.

“I know that four local promotions are allowed to take place every season but these have to be registered properly and it’s currently being investigated.”

Blues have currently sold around 80 tickets for the game.
