SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown hopes to be dancing with delight after tomorrow’s game with Wigan Athletic.

Blues will again be listening to Justin Bieber in the build up to kick off at Roots Hall.

And Brown is starting to enjoy listening to his music.

“Justin Bieber is a talented boy, I like his music and I’ve found myself tapping my feet when it’s on,” said Brown.

“Queen and Genesis are more my era but it’s Justin Bieber the lads are blasting out and it’s part and parcel of them feeling good before a game.

“If Justin does a concert at Roots Hall free of charge I’ll be a happy boy and my daughter is a fan so if I ever did a chance to meet the fella then she would be very jealous.

“I don’t mind a little jig before the game to his music and hopefully I’ll be in the mood to dance to it after the final whistle as well.”

However, Shrimpers centre-back Adam Barrett remains less than convinced by the choice of music being played by his team-mates.

“When it’s on in the dressing room I just sit there and wonder what’s gone wrong with football,” said the defender.

“I do wonder what’s happened to the manly environment, especially now our players are trying to grow their hair like Justin Bieber and dance like him too!

“It’s all good fun but the lads give me a bit of stick for being the dinosaur in the dressing room so I like to dish it out too and Justin Bieber isn’t really my thing!”
