BLUES winger David Worrall missed out on Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Bradford City with an illness.
Worrall had been due to start against the Bantams.
But he was unable to take to the field, much to the disappointment of manager Phil Brown.
“Dave wasn’t available due to a mystery illness on Friday night,” said Brown.
“He was in the starting line-up but I got news on the morning of the match from the physio at around about 10am about the illness.”
Worrall is also out of contract at the end of the season and Brown is not sure whether or not he will be staying.
“I’ve offered Dave a contract but if they think the grass is greener on the other side then so be it get on with it.” he added.
