SOUTHEND United winger Stephen McLaughlin has resumed full training, despite suffering a knee knock in Saturday’s 3-1 win against Millwall.
McLaughlin hobbled off shortly after scoring the Shrimpers’ second goal.
But Blues boss Phil Brown confirmed the Irishman would not be facing a spell on the sidelines.
“Macca’s fine and is already back in training so he'll be fine for Saturday's game at Northampton," said Brown.
"I think I'll be wrapping him up in cotton wool from now on but he's playing in our golf day today so hopefully he doesn't get injured doing that!"
