SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has made five changes to his starting line-up for today’s clash with Chesterfield at Roots Hall.
Nile Ranger has been handed his home debut in attack and will line up alongside Simon Cox as Blues revert to a 4-4-2 formation.
As a result, David Mooney and Jermaine McGlashan have dropped down onto the bench while at the other end of the field Adam Thompson and Jason Demetriou have both been recalled.
They replace Adam Barrett and Ryan Inniss while the final change sees Will Atkinson come in for Luke O’Neill.
