ECHOSPORT talks to MK Dons fan Connor Lawson ahead of tomorrow's game with Southend United

What have you made of MK Dons' season so far?

"The start to the season has not been good enough.

"Despite our good away form, there hasn't been much to shout about for MK Dons fans.

"We are absolutely awful at home.

"We are without a home league win since March and Saturday's game could be vital for manager Karl Robinson, as many fans think he is on the brink of getting sacked and believe that no win on Saturday will result in exactly that.

"We are sloppy in defence and have only kept one clean sheet at home all season.

"We need to improve massively as fans are getting restless with the current bad run of form."

What are the hopes for MK Dons this season?

"After getting relegated from the Championship, many bookies had us tipped as favourites for promotion.

"However, I was hoping for play-offs at the start of the season down to our average recruitment in the summer window.

"Karl Robinson made it clear he wanted promotion at the start of the season, but we are definitely a long way off of that.

"I predicted us a fourth placed finish pre-season, but it now looks more likely we will finish mid table."

Ben Reeves is well known to all Southend fans. How has he been doing for Mk Dons?

"Ben has been a great player for us ever since he joined.

"He won player of the year for the 13/14 season but recently he has been unlucky with injury.

"But, when he is on his day, he is a player who can win you games.

"His performance on Tuesday night against Bristol Rovers was the best I have seen him for a while."

Who else do Blues need to keep an eye on?

"Ryan Colclough is on loan from Wigan at the moment and he can give full backs a real hard time.

"He scored a hat-trick against Fleetwood a few weeks back and is a very skillful player.

"Kieran Agard was signed from Bristol City in the striker and has scored five goals this season.

"He is a fantastic finisher and has fantastic strength."

What's the team news ahead of tomorrow's game?

"Right back George Baldock is injured, as is Chuks Aneke.

"Centre-back Scott Wootton is also sidelined.

"However, defender Joe Walsh and midfielder Darren Potter are likely to come back into the starting eleven after returning from suspension.
