JOHN White and Harry Kyprianou have both been passed fit for Southend United’s trip to Walsall tomorrow.
White (groin) and Kyprianou (calf) returned to full training yesterday to add to Phil Brown’s options at left-back in place of the injured Ben Coker who is currently out of action with an ankle problem.
However, Brown could still decide to stick with Michael Timlin.
“I thought Michael did a reasonable job at left-back again against Swindon Town on Tuesday night so I have a bit of a headache there for tomorrow,” said Brown.
“He gives us good balance there but John and Harry are natural full-backs so I have a lot to be thinking about in that area of the pitch.”
And Brown could also hand striker Marc-Antoine Fortune a starting slot after he impressed as a substitute against Swindon.
“Marc is definitely in my head after how he played the other night,” said Brown.
“I’ve spoken to Nile (Ranger) who said he feels fine but Tuesday’s game with Swindon did look like it came too early for him.
“I will see how they look in training today and make a decision from there.”
