SOUTHEND United sold defender Finley Burns to Manchester City for a record fee for a 13-year-old.
Echosport revealed a fortnight ago how the youngster had been snapped up the Premier League giants.
But it has now emerged that City paid £175,000 to sign the teenager.
The fee could eventually rise to £250,000 depending on Burns’ future success.
