BLUES boss Phil Brown insists the time has come to shake up his starting line-up.

The Shrimpers head to struggling Coventry City tonight without a win in their last three matches and Brown looks set to freshen up his team for the clash at the Ricoh Arena.

“One or two have been waiting for their opportunity and it’s only right they play now,” said Brown.

“I haven’t made many changes in the last 25 games but we’re coming to the business end of the season and I have to look around the changing room and see who is up for that fight.

“I’m not a manager who likes to make wholesale changes but at the moment we’re hitting a little bad spell which we need to come out off.

“If that means making four or five changes then so be it.”
