SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown expects Nile Ranger and Anthony Wordsworth to both return at Chesterfield this Friday.
And he has refused to rule out Ben Coker also being back in contention.
The key trio all missed Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Charlton Athletic.
But Brown believes they could all be back to take on the Spireites.
“I’m expecting Woody to be back in training tomorrow and Nile should be back before the end of the week so I’m very hopeful they will be fit to play,” said Brown.
“I’m not ruling out Ben Coker at this stage either because he’s in a good head space at the moment.”
However, Brown is not sure if John White will be available after the defender picked up a hip problem against Charlton.
