SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has called for a bumper crowd to roar on the Shrimpers in Monday's crucial clash with MK Dons.
The play-off pushing Blues got back to winning ways with a convincing 4-0 win at struggling Chesterfield on Friday.
And Brown now wants the supporters right behind his side as they bid for more success at Roots Hall.
“I’m calling out for a massive crowd and a full house for what is another important game,” said the 57-year-old.
“If the Southend fans want to see us get success then they need to stay right behind us and we need a crowd of 10,000 plus against MK Dons.
“We have three games to go and two of those are at home so - like I’ve always said - if we’re going to achieve anything this season then it’s going to be because of our home form.
“That’s why it’s so important to have a good atmosphere with a big crowd right behind us.”
The Shrimpers head into the game sitting seventh in the League One standings, a point behind sixth placed Millwall who currently occupy the final play-off position with just three games to go.
