Released - Jason Williams
JASON Williams has revealed he has been released by Southend United.
The 21-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at Roots Hall, made 14 substitute appearances for the club.
But the striker will not be offered a new deal.
He tweeted: “Six unreal years at Southend have come to an end. Happy to be a part of all that’s gone on and made some of my best friends at the club.
"Time to push on and hopefully fulfil a successful career."
