Uncertain future - Blues midfielder Will Atkinson
WILL Atkinson is facing an uncertain future at Southend United.
The midfielder, who has been with the Shrimpers since 2013, is wanted by a trio of clubs, including League Two outfit Mansfield Town.
And Blues boss Phil Brown is unsure if Atkinson will remain at Roots Hall.
"Talks haven't been too positive with Will," said Brown.
"There are a few stumbling blocks and he has offers from two or three clubs towards the north of the country.
"I’m not sure what will happen now.”
Atkinson made 38 appearances for Blues last season and has made 175 appearances for the club
