WE’RE obviously concerned with the way results have been going for us but we’re also quite calm about the situation because we all realise we’re not far from where we need to be.

Things just aren’t going for us at the moment and it was summed up at Shrewsbury really.

The goalkeeper made a great save to keep out my header but the rebound missed Jason Demetriou by about an inch. If things are going you’re way that goes in but we have to stay positive and keep making sure we are doing the right things.

We have to keep smiles on our faces and that’s been happening in the build up to the Northampton game. We need to have the good shape that we had at Shrewsbury right from the start and we’d all take a scrappy 1-0 win right now.

After the Shrewsbury game we had the club’s golf day which meant we didn’t get much sleep but it was an enjoyable day.

Anthony Wordsworth thought he had won and wasn’t happy when Ryan Leonard was announced as the winner! To be honest, I’m not quite sure how Lenny won either and I can only imagine half his shots weren’t counted.

Stephen McLaughlin also picked up a prize but it was the wooden spoon and he wasn’t best pleased with it either! Spirits are still high and there was quite a funny game of cards on the team bus to Shrewsbury.

Mark Oxley, Lenny, Macca and Jase were playing a game called crash but none of them seemed to know the rules so I think it will be back to playing snap next time.

I had to act as Ox’s helper because he’s not the brightest but none of them really knew what was going on!

It was quite similar to when Amadou Ba got up to sing his initiation song.

It was all in French and we had no idea what it was about but it seemed to be for an audience of one as Marc-Antoine Fortune was loving it!
