IT’S a big test for us at Wigan Athletic tomorrow, but our belief is still very high in the dressing room.

Last weekend was disappointing and there can be no denying that.

For whatever reason, we weren’t focused enough just after half-time and it ended up costing us the game.

It was hard to take but we have to look at it and say it was a bad 45 minutes in five matches of football.

Prior to facing Doncaster, we had won four on the spin and you don’t do that if you’re a bad side or there is a major problem.

We have a very talented group of players and we know what we’re capable of producing.

We want to show that against Wigan and it’s a game we’re looking forward to.

They’ve started the season well, as was to be expected, but it’s a nice ground there and I’m sure the pitch will be good as well, so it’s a good game to be involved in.

We will also be fired up to put right what went wrong at Doncaster by getting a good result.

A draw wouldn’t be a bad result but we’ll be making the long trip without a few of our recognised defenders.

Anton (Ferdinand) is suspended and he knows he’s better than what happened after the game at Doncaster, when he was red carded.

He will be more frustrated than anyone and we will have to make do without him.

Unfortunately, Harry Kyprianou got injured last weekend and will also be missing, but hopefully he won’t be out for too long.

Anton will also be back after the game with Peterborough on Tuesday and we have Michael Turner fit again too, so our options will soon be increasing at the back.

We also welcome back our international Jason Demetriou this week.

We’ve been tracking Cyprus’ scores while he was away but none of us could believe he got to be captain!
