REFEREE

Carl Boyeson (East Yorkshire) Boyeson has shown 40 yellow cards and six red in the 15 games he has taken charge of so far this season.

Boyeson officiated Blues’ 4-2 win at Fleetwood Town in September in a game which saw him send off Fleetwood’s Aiden O’Neill after just 31 minutes.

Boyeson also refereed the Shrimpers 0-0 draw at Walsall last season and angered Blues boss Phil Brown when he did not award a penalty for a challenge on Nile Ranger.
