ECHOSPORT takes a closer look at tonight’s opponents MK Dons with the help of supporter Jonathan Harries.
THE SEASON SO FAR
MK Dons started the season with just one win in their first six games before slowly starting to get back on track.
However, Robbie Neilson’s side have now been beaten just once in seven matches and are currently 13th in the League One standings - level on points with the Shrimpers.
RECENT FORM
MK Dons fought back to draw 2-2 at Charlton Athletic on Saturday and are therefore unbeaten in their last four matches.
The Dons had won three in succession before visiting the Valley but are currently 20th in the form guide from the last six League games, with Blues in 16th.
STYLE OF PLAY
Dons boss Neilson regularly changes personnel and tactics to nullify the threat of the opposition.
DANGERMAN
Chuks Aneke: The towering former Arsenal youngster has bagged three goals so far this season but also poses problems on the floor as well as in the air in the final third.
TEAM NEWS
Kieran Agard is pushing for a place in the starting line-up after scoring twice following his introduction as a second half substitute at Charlton Athletic on Saturday.
PREDICTED STARTING LINE-UP
Nicholls, Williams, Ebanks-Landell, Wootton, Goldbourne, Gilbey, Upson, Ariyibi, Aneke, Pawlett, Agard
