SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown is considering handing Amadou Ba his League debut in tonight’s clash at MK Dons.

The 19-year-old striker has made four cup appearances since signing in the summer.

But Brown could involve the Frenchman tonight in a bid to improve his shot-shy side.

“We brought Amadou Ba in and he’s not really had a run out yet or much of a chance but sometimes kids play with freedom so he’s absolutely in my thoughts,” said the Shrimpers boss.

“There’s also the partnership of Nile Ranger and Marc-Antoine Fortune we haven’t tried together yet so I do have options.”

Blues have scored just 20 goals in 17 League games so far this season.
