SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown was left ‘absolutely disgusted’ by his side’s 1-1 draw at MK Dons tonight.
The Shrimpers dominated large spells of the game at Stadium MK and missed a number of clear cut chances, including an early penalty which Josh Wright failed to convert to leave Brown fuming.
“I am just absolutely disgusted by that performance,” said Brown.
“You can’t put chances on a plate like that and not take them because we’ve thrown two points away.
“People will be saying it’s a good point away at MK Dons but that’s a load of rubbish.
“I’m disgusted by this and I’m disgusted for the travelling fans because this just isn’t good enough but I’m sure the players will be half celebrating a point.”
The share of the spoils saw the Shrimpers remain 14th in the League One standings.
