SOUTHEND United starlet Dru Yearwood wants to toast turning 18 with a win against Portsmouth tomorrow.
Yearwood - who celebrates his birthday on Saturday - has been in sparkling form for the Shrimpers since Chris Powell’s arrival.
And the midfielder is keen to make this weekend’s clash another one to remember at Roots Hall.
“When I saw the fixtures come out I never thought I would be in the team on my birthday, but hopefully I will be because it’s another big game,” said Yearwood.
“I have a lot of family coming to the game and we’re going out for a meal afterwards to celebrate my birthday.
"It would make it extra special to get a win and I’ll be old enough to drink the champagne if I get man of the match again now too but I don't think I would drink it anyway!"
