THE SEASON SO FAR

Portsmouth were promoted as champions from League Two last season and have adjusted well to League One.

Portsmouth - who are currently ninth in the standings - enjoyed a terrific November and December, winning nine games out of 11, but Kenny Jackett’s side have been unable to take that form into 2018.

Portsmouth have triumphed just once in their last eight games and lost 2-1 at home to Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night.

The Fratton Park outfit have lost five of their last eight outings and are 18th in the League One form guide.

Portsmouth are expected to line-up in a 4-4-2 formation this weekend.
