Wouldn’t be a happy birthday without three points. Boys were on it as usual and fans were brilliant. Thanks for all the birthday messages.

FANS
We’ll have better performances but pure determination and work rate got us across the line. Impressed by Harrison, Timlin was fantastic and Turner is turning into a monster at the back. Things are looking up!
@samgoody23
Another superb, hard working performance under Chrissy Powell. Pompey are a good side but we stayed with them then took over after the red card. Cox isn’t scoring but his work rate and contribution remains vital. Timlin and Yearwood are a great combination.
@moorhouse79
I love football again! Harrison was class and birthday boy Dru keeps getting better. The boys are all committed to the cause. Chrissy Powell I love you.
@austinwilks
Not the greatest performance but got the goals at good times, especially the third. Portsmouth pressurised a lot but didn’t really have any clear cut chances and didn’t test Oxley so we deserved to win. JD MOTM but everyone else worked hard too.
@ljarvis27
Not our best performance but had the resilience and experience to see us to our fourth win out of five. Yearwood and Timlin are a central midfield pairing to be admired and Cox and Ladapo are bound to get their goals soon. Ferdinand much improved under Powell.
@brodystopher16
Portsmouth seemed more of a threat than Wigan and certainly worked us harder in the middle of the pitch. Thought the spine did very well. Ferdinand and Timlin were both immense and Turner continues to impress.
@kaylalula
Confidence does wonders for the team and the crowd. Riding a wave at the moment, long may it continue. Fun times to be a Shrimper again.
@jamesrbeattie
Certainly not as good as the Wigan game but we kept battling and the sending off probably got us the three points. Dru and Timlin excellent again, both giving 100 per cent.
@trevor_tricky
Not the best performance but certainly entertaining like all our games have been since Chris Powell took over. Another big three points.
