ECHOSPORT takes a closer look at tomorrow’s opponents Blackburn Rovers.

THE SEASON SO FAR

Blackburn have recovered from a shaky start to the season to top the League One table with just seven games to go.

Rovers, who were relegated from the Championship last season, lost their first two League games of the current campaign but now seem well set for promotion.

Tony Mowbray’s side are currently a point clear at the top of the table with a game in hand on second placed Shrewsbury Town.

RECENT FORM

Rovers are unbeaten in their last nine League games and have won seven of their last eight outings.

Blackburn have also not been beaten at Ewood Park in 18 games and are top of the League One form guide from the last six matches, ahead of Southend who sit 13th.

DANGERMAN

Bradley Dack: The attacking midfielder joined Blackburn from Gillingham for £750,000 last July and has enjoyed a fine first season at Ewood Park.

Dack has already scored 16 goals this term and has scored four goals in his last five games.

TEAM NEWS

Rovers hope to have defender Darragh Lenihan available again this weekend but Ryan Nyambe is still out.
