Paul Sturrock - has made three changes
BLUES boss Paul Sturrock has made three changes to his starting line-up for this afternoon’s match at Morecambe with Ryan Hall being recalled on the left flank.
He replaces David Martin, who drops to the bench, while Jack Sampson will partner Liam Dickinson in attack.
As a result, Kane Ferdinand has been selected among the substitutes while Luke Prosser has been preferred to Peter Gilbert at left-back.
Gilbert has been left out of the entire squad, along with Pat Baldwin, but striker Anto Flood is on the bench for the first time since signing last month.
Southend United (4-4-2): Morris, Clohessy, Phillips, Barker, Prosser, Mohsni, Kalala, Timlin, Hall, Dickinson, Sampson
Substitutes: Grant, Ferdinand, Martin, Benyon & Flood.
