Blackpool still interested in signing Southend United winger Ryan Hall

Ryan Hall - still wanted by Blackpool
BLACKPOOL are still interested in signing Southend United winger Ryan Hall.
The Championship club came close to signing the 24-year-old just before the transfer window closed on Friday night.
But the Seasiders have not given up hope of bringing Hall in.
And the Echo understands they are keen to complete a loan deal when the window reopens again next week, with the move then becoming permanent in January.
“Blackpool are still interested in Ryan and hope the deal can be completed soon,” said a source close to the club.
“It very nearly happened on Friday but just couldn’t be agreed in time.
“The move is not dead though and Ryan is keen to play at a higher level as well.
“It does look like it’s going to happen now with the move initially being on loan before it becomes permanent in January.”
Blackpool had a bid of £250,000 accepted for Hall on Friday but personal terms could not be agreed before the 11pm shut-off point.
However, that has now been sorted and the winger looks destined to depart.
Hall joined Blues on a free transfer two seasons ago and has since made 105 appearances for the club, scoring 22 goals.
Last season he was the club’s top scorer after hitting the back of the net 14 times and he also ended the campaign with more assists than any other player in the professional leagues.
This time around, he has featured in three of Southend’s five games so far this season but he will not be involved in tonight’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy first round tie against AFC Wimbledon.
Bilel Mohsni will again also not figure either and the French defender is set to train with Championship club Ipswich Town later this week.
Mohsni has not returned to Roots Hall since the end of last season and is also keen to leave.

It make me sick when players who get first team football at Southend moan about playing at a HIGHER LEVEL and when they do sign for bigger clubs they are sat on the bench or playing for the reserves, the only players that have done well since leaving Southend are Gary Hooper and Michael Kightly,
Simon Francis played regularly for Charlton and now Bournemouth in league one.
Lee Barnard did well at Southampton till injured and also now at Bournemouth.
Grant playing for Stevenage.
McCormack playing for Swindon in League One
Mark Gower played over 100 games for Swansea.

This is supposed to be our big promotion year but the club is NOT being run that way.
PS complaining about the summer tour in Spain not giving the team the type of experience it needed; the signing of players who just aren't fit and need extensive periods of rehab and recovery...promising to bring in new talent but delivering nix.
This is looking more and more like a crafty real estate play and NOT the creation of a terrific team that we can all be proud of.
Chris Phillips is a smart reporter but he can't create the news...
Can we have to put some pressure on the management to live up to their commitments to this town otherwise
Blue Square here we come!!!

We are 10 million in debt and the crowds are tumbling fast which means we will not be able to pay bills or wages so selling some of the silver has to happen, we were told in the early seventies that SUFC had to get gates of around 6,000 - 7,000 to keep their heads above water.
I'm afraid it could be curtains for SUFC as a business unless a miracle happens, strange how Sainsbury have gone quiet?
