Barnet Shrimper says...
7:10pm Thu 18 Mar 10
Over the many years we have seen disappointments, trouble, unpleasant things on and off the pitch but enjoyed a few glorious successe, but the situation now can only be described as a dreadful Shambles.
Hopefully the right questions will be asked at the meeting, but it is difficult to see much light in the responses.
For a year now I have been asking how the club got into the financial & tax positions it is supposed to be in?when did it start,? why?, who was responsible?, and were there no financial controls in place? ( are there any now for that matter?).Why was the greatest priorityof the Club staying in the Championship let slip? Who took their eyes of this ball ?
Comments have more recently been directed at the enormous turn over of players , many of whom have come and gone costing overall I believe a considerable loss of supporters hard earned money. The example of forwards is one example mentioned often now. Except for Eastwood quiet a few of these have come, been released at a financial loss and gone on to scoring goals. Coincidence or management problems ? Hopefully there will be some genuine replies and positive news for the future on Monday, covered no doubt by the media and the Echo as this shambles cannot continue. Perhaps there is a time when change, a new direction, is needed in politics and from managements to secure the future. ?
