Freezing weather stops play at annual Boxing Day cricket match

THE annual Boxing Day cricket match at John Burrow's Ground has been called off due to a frozen pitch.
Hadleigh & Thundersley Cricket Club were due to face Leigh on Sea in the traditional fixture at the ground in Rectory Road, Hadleigh.
But the conditions led to the fixture being abandoned this year.
