CONCORD Rangers were celebrating at the double yesterday as their youngsters won two of the South-East Essex Primary Mini Soccer League Cup finals at Great Wakering Rovers’ Burroughs Park ground.

Concord Rangers Tigers beat Island Boys Lions 1-0 in the under nines John Sales Cup with Alfie Taylor scoring the only goal of the game.

Concord’s Lions side were then also successful by the same score-line against Great Wakering Lions Colts in the CKG Cup, which was also at under nine level, as Cody White bagged the decisive goal.

Basildon Boys Lions were full of smiles too after they beat Trinity Youth Cougars 3-0 in the Stan Lewis Cup at under 10 level, thanks to goals from Ross Jeffrey, Vincent Andrews and Arron Mensah Afokwah.

And Trinity Youth Lions were the fourth winners of a fine afternoon as they beat Catholic United Minors Lions 1-0 in the under 10s Trophy Factory Cup with a goal from Riley Oliver.
