Basildon Wanderers have seen a player exodus from their successful teams this season and are now keen to recruit some new footballers.
“Some of them have gone to other teams because their mates have gone there,” said Wanderers’ Martin McKay.
“It has left some of the teams a bit short, particularly the under-11 yellows who are about five players short.”
The Yellows won the Thundermite U11 Premier Division last season during a campaign that saw them go unbeaten.
The U11 Blues were cup finalists last season and are also looking to strengthen.
Wanderers’ under-10 and under-nine side, who also went unbeaten last season, are also looking for players.
