IT is not just at senior level that Canvey-based Concord Rangers have enjoyed success this season.

Only last week, Concord’s first team won promotion to the Premier Division of the Ryman League.

And, at Great Wakering Rovers’ Burroughs Park home yesterday, Rangers’ Leopards side reigned supreme when the South-East Essex Mini-Soccer Primary League staged their cup finals.

Leopards won the under-nine Tigers competition for the John Sales Cup with 3-1 victory over Ashingdon Youth Tigers, their goals coming from Poulter, Pritchard and Boys. Batchelor replied.

The under-nine Lions trophy for the CKG Cup went to Leigh Ramblers Lions, who beat their Southend Manor counterparts 2-0 with goals from Gosling and Barton.

The under-10 Tigers competition for the Stan Lewis Cup went to Catholic United Tigers, who were 2-0 winners over Leigh Town Youth Lions. Outram netted a brace for the winners.

Completing the day was the under-10 Lions competition in which Forest Glade Lions won the Trophy Factory Cup with a 3-0 success over their Runwell Hospital counterparts.
