BASILDON United are aiming to put the trials and tribulations of the opening weekend behind them and look to chalk up their first points of the new season tonight.
The Bees take on Ilford at the TLM Stadium, having suffered a 1-0 loss at home only five days ago, although manager Colin Cook is hopeful of a more positive result with another training session under his side's belts.
Ilford won their opening match 3-2 against Waltham Forest, who were relegated last season from the Ryman North.
Southend Manor are back in action against Stansted, having suffered a heavy 5-0 loss at the weekend.
Manor were comprehensively beaten and will be up against it tonight, against a side bubbling with confidence after a 3-0 away win at Enfield on the opening day.
Both games kick off at 7:45pm.
