CONCORD Rangers goalkeeper Jamie Butler has had to withdraw from the England C squad next month through injury.
The 22-year-old won a call-up to the 16-man Three Lions non-league squad last Monday after impressing this campaign for the Beachboys.
But the following day he was involved in a clash with Wealdstone striker Enoch Showunmi, injuring his knee.
And, despite a hard battle to be fit for England's International Challenge Trophy game in Turkey next Tuesday, he will not be fit in time.
A clearly disappointed Butler tweeted after this evening "From the best news of my life last week to the worst today. Heartbreaking having to withdraw from England squad but wont let injury beat me!"
