CONCORD RANGERS CAPTAIN TONY STOKES TAKES US THROUGH THE BEACHBOYS SQUAD WHO WILL TRAVEL TO MANSFIELD TOMORROW.
JOE ‘THE NEW KID’ WRIGHT (GK): Good shot-stopper and kicker. Hoping he stays fit #goaliecurse
JEREMY ‘G’DAY MATE’ WALKER (DEF): Energetic full-back that loves an assist. Not to keen on the barnet though!
STEVE ‘NO SHOW’ KING (DEF): Good ability in the air but too big time to ever come to training!
JACK ‘THE CAT’ LAMPE (DEF): Very under-rated and loves a block. Shame he’s not as good outfield as in goal!
MATT ‘COMING OR GOING’ FRY (DEF): Fast centre-half with a good left foot. Hopeully he’ll stick around this time!
DANNY ‘JASON’ GLOZIER (DEF): Mr Reliable on the pitch. Must be doing something right off the pitch too. Just look at his missus JAMES ‘SOFTY’ WHITE (MID): 7ft midfield giant with amazing footwork. Too bad he always goes down injured!
LEWIS ‘LITTLE MAN SYNDROME’ TAAFFE (CF): Fast little whippet that doesn’t stop running. Moans more than my missus!
STEVE ‘CHIPPY’ CAWLEY (CF): Good link-up play, loves to chip the keeper. His dad must be Concord’s number one fan.
JORDAN ‘LOVES A DANCE’ CHIEDOZIE (CF): Quick, agile striker that needs a new celebration.
ALEX ‘THE ENGINE’ WOODYARD (MID): Strong midfield general that doesn’t stop running. Surprised he can see where he’s going with that hair!
JOE ‘LAY ON THE FLOOR’ GARDNER (MID): Fast, loves running with the ball. Shame he spends half the time on the ground from being fouled.
GARY ‘JAFFA CAKES’ OGILVIE (MID): Great team player, good in dressing room. Always gets Jaffa cakes in for being worst trainer SAM ‘LEFT FOOT’ COLLINS (MID): Energetic, versatile midfielder with eye for goal. Maybe he’ll use his right foot one day.
TAYLOR ‘I LOVE TRAINING’ MILES (MID): Young, enthusiastic player that just loves football. Need to get him out of the Concord running club.
CHEYE ‘THE WHIPPET’ ALEXANDER (DEF): Fastest player in the team with a bright future ahead. Too bad he doesn’t ever stop talking!
TONY ‘100 CLUB’ STOKES (CF): Goal scorer with Usain Bolt-like pace. 99 goals for the club with all of them after leaving the centre halves behind with my rapidness!
