CONCORD Rangers' big FA Cup First Round tie at Mansfield Town has been called off after heavy downpours in Nottinghamshire.
Heavy rain throughout the morning forced referee Kevin Wright to inspect the Field Mill pitch at 1.30pm where he deemed the surface unplayable.
The weather was also not set to improve for the remainder of the day.
The Conference South side were still travelling up to Mansfield when the decision was made and were not consulted on the decision.
Concord chairman Antony Smith tweeted: "Nice to find out on Twitter the games off cheers @mansfieldtownfc"
Coach loads of Beach Boys fans were also on route to the ground.
