NON-LEAGUE: Concord Rangers prospect Riggers Kabashi has been called-up by England Schoolboys under-18 side for the first time.
The exciting youngster is highly regarded by the Beach Boys and has been knocking on the door of the first-team this season.
Manager Danny Cowley decided to loan Kabashi to Ryman One North outfit Barkingside last month in a bit to gain more experience and Cowley says he will go on to have a great career.
“Full credit to Riggers,” he said. “He is a very exciting young player and credit must also go to Gary Ogilvie (under-18s boss) for the hand he has played in his development.
“He is the first player we have ever had to be called up so it is a proud moment.
“We will see the best of him in the near future I am sure of it.”
Another youth prospect, Paulius Ditkevicius, was selected in the final 32 by the team's coaches, but failed to make the final cut.
