BOWERS & Pitsea can climb to fourth in the league with a win over Takeley tonight.

Rob Small’s men won their 11th consecutive match on Saturday to record their 14th win in 19 league games this term, and they will be confident of extending that run at the Len Salmon Stadium.

Bowers crushed Takeley 6-0 away from home at the end of December, with braces from Lewis Manor and Rob Whitnell doing the damage that day.

And Small’s team are in a buoyant mood, after their 2-1 win at Sawbridgeworth three days ago.

Bowers will be without Manor for the match, after he picked up a knock in training last Thursday.

Dan Brown (hamstring) and Neil Marron (knee) will also miss the game, although the rest of the squad is fit.

Hullbridge Sports haven’t played in the league since February 7 due to rain postponements but hope Lower Road will be ready in time for the visit of Tower Hamlets.

Fifteenth-placed Hamlets visit tonight as Sports look to break into the top half of the division and are expected to have captain Rob Hodgson available after injury.

Southend Manor will be aiming to stop their dreadful losing run against FC Romania at Southchurch Park.

Wayne Seal’s side have lost 13 games on the spin, following Saturday’s 4-0 reverse against Haringey Borough.
